King Salmon Fishing
Fall Kings normally average 20 pounds. At one time the Columbia River had the largest run of King Salmon in the world along with the largest King Salmon as these carry much the same genetic makeup as the famous “Kenai Kings” of Alaska.
Every year there are 50 plus pound Kings landed in this area. This along with the Awesome Coho salmon action makes for some of the best salmon fishing in Oregon or anywhere in the Lower 48.
You’ll be trolling for these big salmon.
When the limit of Kings are in the box you will go after the Coho. Trips will usually run 8 hours or until all clients are limited out. Limits are on a quota system and are subject to change.
This is a phenomenal fishery that offers many beautiful sights as well. It is not uncommon to see whales while fishing along with many types of seabirds.
